Investing in Our People: TSA’s Digital Workplace Gets a New Look Tradetech Services Australia (TSA) is investing in the future of its workforce through a refreshed intranet, strengthened training and competency systems, and a redesigned Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Hub. Together, these improvements are creating a more connected, informed and capable workforce while making important information easier to access across the business.

Our Digital Workplace Gets a New Look

We have been investing in the future of our workforce through a refreshed intranet, strengthened training and competency systems, and a redesigned Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Hub.

Together, these improvements are creating a more connected, informed and capable workforce while making important information easier to access across the business.

A New-Look Intranet

TSA’s refreshed intranet provides employees with one central location for company news, information, resources and essential tools.

Its improved navigation and streamlined layout make it quicker and easier to access frequently used forms and documents, company policies, team information and the latest TSA announcements.

The intranet also includes practical features such as daily calendar integration, meeting reminders and quick access to TSA’s careers page. These tools help employees stay organised, informed and connected, whether they are working from an office or supporting projects in the field.

Strengthening Training and Competency

TSA has also improved how training, licences and competencies are managed across the organisation.

Refreshed training registers and role-based requirements provide a clearer picture of the skills and qualifications employees need for their roles. Automated monitoring within the QHSE system helps identify licences, training and competencies approaching expiry so they can be addressed before they lapse.

TSA’s Verification of Competency process is also being strengthened. While a licence or ticket confirms that a person is qualified, a Verification of Competency provides additional assurance that they can safely perform a task using TSA’s plant, equipment and work practices.

Individual competency cards featuring QR codes will allow authorised management and OHS&E personnel to quickly confirm the activities, vehicles and equipment an employee has been verified to operate.

A Refreshed QHSE Hub

TSA’s QHSE Hub has received a significant visual update, aligning it with the company’s Learning Management System, website and corporate branding.

The platform remains the central location for policies, procedures, Safe Work Method Statements, pre-starts, JSEAs, incident and hazard reporting, plant and vehicle information, training resources and toolbox talks.

A cleaner layout and introductory video make the system easier to understand and navigate, particularly for employees joining TSA for the first time.

 Building Capability for the Future

These improvements are about more than introducing new technology. They represent TSA’s commitment to supporting its people throughout their careers.

By improving access to information, strengthening competency verification and creating more consistent learning experiences, TSA is helping new and existing employees build the knowledge and skills required to work safely and confidently.

This continued investment in people and technology will help TSA develop its future workforce, strengthen operational capability and continue delivering safe, high-quality infrastructure projects across Victoria.
