TSA partnered with FIMMA Constructions and CitiPower to deliver the civil infrastructure for a new kiosk substation at Carlton North Primary School. TSA’s utilities and traffic teams worked together to safely manage the complex urban location.
SCOPE OF WORKS
Works included bulk and detailed excavation, rock removal, precast cable pits and stacked electrical conduits. TSA also completed sealed service penetrations, backfilling, compaction, reinforcement and a concrete slab foundation for the new kiosk substation.
DELIVERY METHODOLOGY
Construction was staged to control excavation risks and maintain safe pedestrian and vehicle access. Lane controls, pedestrian detours and defined work zones supported safe delivery, while precision installation ensured accurate conduit alignment and compliant network connections.
