HV Feeder Upgrade

Client: CitiPower

Overview

TSA is partnering with CitiPower to deliver staged high-voltage infrastructure works supporting the development at 115–124 Balmain Street. Stage 1 has included the successful installation of two 240 mm² 3-core aluminium cables. Energisation of 115 Balmain Street is nearing completion, with reinstatement works scheduled to follow.

Scope of Works

The project includes HV cable installation, trench and cable-route preparation, controlled cable hauling and final reinstatement. The next phase will extend the network through new conduits and HV cables along Oddys Lane, Electric Street and Chestnut Street, upgrading the feeder that supplies the growing precinct.

Delivery Methodology

Works are being delivered through a staged construction sequence coordinated with CitiPower. Controlled work zones, trench preparation and cable rollers support safe installation within constrained streets and laneways. Each phase progresses through cable installation, testing and energisation before surfaces and access routes are reinstated.

The outcome

TSA is delivering staged HV cable, conduit and reinstatement works for CitiPower within a constrained urban precinct, focused on reliable supply and future network capacity.
